Cluster tours on the same Day:

A lot of off-site managers choose to have Cluster tours on the same day checked- this means that we will automatically cluster your tours at a given property together, to ensure you are maximally efficient. For example: let's say Karl autobooks a tour at Listing A for Friday 11:00am.

Now let's assume your preferences are like the screenshot above (i.e. cluster tours on and max 3 visitors one time).

When Susan looks at the available times on Friday for Listing A, this is what she will see:

She will only see 10:30am, 11:00am, and 11:30am as times she can book. This ensures you are, as the setting says, clustering your tours together efficiently.

Length of Tours:

This is all assuming you have 30 minutes selected as your Length of tour times. If you had 15 minutes instead selected, Renter B would have seen 10:45am, 11:00am, and 11:15am as Friday's autobook times. I.e. 15 minute appointment slots instead of 30 minute slots.

Minimum Booking Notice:

Minimum booking notice is the amount of time between now and when the first tour can be booked. Think of it as a buffer to give you time to be notified of your tours and get ready.

So if it's 12:00pm right now and you have a minimum booking notice set to 3 hours like in the above^, the first tour a renter could book today would be 3:00pm (thus giving you a 3 hour buffer).

Buffer before/after appointments:

These are the buffers before and after an appointment. So if you have 30 minutes set for both and an appointment ending at 11AM, your next available to the public would be 12PM.

Manually Review Requests (Off-site):

We actually highly recommend off-site managers use Allow Instant Booking and Cluster Tours on the same day. But if you want to Manually review every request, here's how that works:

When renter Jason Ellsworth goes to book a tour, he will have to select 3 times and submit the request to you:

Then you as the manager will receive the request in Knock:

Let's say you accept Monday at 3:30PM, when another prospect goes to book a tour, they will be given option around that same time on Monday.

This gives renters the benefit of being able to instantly book their tours and gives you the benefit of clustering your tours together efficiently!
